MSG App ("we", "us", "the Service") provides secure storage of a personal message that your nominated emergency contacts can request access to. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to these Terms of Service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Subscriptions are one-time purchases for the stated term (1, 3, or 5 years). Prices are shown in USD at checkout. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle.
You are responsible for the content of the message you store and for keeping your passphrase safe. Your message is encrypted in your browser; we cannot recover it if you lose your passphrase. You must not use the Service for unlawful purposes.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Your Will App lets you store your Will securely so that your trusted trustees can access it with your approval. Here is how it works.
Sign up with your mobile number. We send you a one-time code to verify it. During registration you add your details and up to two trustees by their mobile numbers, and optionally their emails so they can be notified.
On the Will page, write your Will. It is encrypted in your browser before it is stored, so only ciphertext ever reaches us. You give the decryption key to your trustees; without it, no one, not even us, can read your Will. You can update it any time.
When a trustee needs your Will, they request access using their own account. You are notified of the request and can approve it. You can also set an auto-approve period so a request is granted automatically if you do not respond within the days you choose, which indicates you can no longer be reached.
Once a request is approved, the trustee can open your Will and decrypt it with the key you gave them. Every access and approval is recorded in your activity log so you always know who viewed it and when.
Who can read my Will?
Only the trustees you nominate, and only after a request is approved (by you, or automatically after your chosen waiting period) and only if they have the decryption key you gave them. We cannot read it because it is encrypted before it reaches us.
What happens if I lose my phone or decryption key?
You log in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number, so a new device is fine as long as you keep the number. Keep your decryption key safe: because your Will is encrypted in your browser, it cannot be recovered if the key is lost.
Can I change my trustees later?
Yes. Open the Profile & Settings page to update your trustees and their emails at any time.
How is auto-approval controlled?
On the Configuration page you set the number of days before a pending access request is approved automatically. Set it to suit how quickly you want your trustees to be able to reach your Will if you cannot respond.
Do I need a subscription?
New accounts start with a free trial. After it ends, an active subscription is needed to write or update your Will and use the full features. Your trustees can still request access.

We collect the mobile number, email, name, date of birth and emergency contact numbers you provide when registering, and a record of your subscription status. Your stored message is encrypted in your browser before it reaches us; we only ever hold ciphertext and cannot read it.
We use your data to operate the Service: to authenticate you, to notify your emergency contacts when they request access, and to manage your subscription.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full card details. Paddle's handling of payment data is governed by Paddle's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the Service (for example SMS delivery and payment processing) and where required by law.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data via our Contact page.

All subscription purchases are final. We do not offer refunds once a subscription has been purchased, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Because our order process is conducted by our reseller Paddle.com (the Merchant of Record), any refund that is required by law is handled by Paddle. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us via our Contact page and we will work with Paddle to resolve it.
